Notes: Domaine de Fontavin was established in 1989 by the Chouvet family, who have been producing wine in the Rhone region for many generations. Today the Domaine owns 45 hectares of vines across 8 communes in the Southern Rhone, including Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and has been certified as an organic producer since 2008. This Muscat de Beaumes de Venise is a sweet, fortified wine in the classic style of this area of the Rhone valley. Made from 100% Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains it has an intense and complex nose with exotic fruit and floral notes, whilst the palate is long, elegant and honeyed. Over time these wines will gain further complexity and hints of dried apricot. Serve as an aperitif or with desserts or blue cheese.
