Notes: Château Lamartine is located in the Lot Valley in the Cahors appellation and their award-winning wines focus on the Malbec grape which is native to this part of southwest France– these are undoubtedly some of the best wines from the region. The chateau’s flagship red is a blend of 90% Malbec with 10% Merlot, resulting in a traditional wine typical of the Cahors region, combining elegant tannins with a pleasing astringency and strong aromas of ripe red fruits and spice. An excellent match for hearty and flavourful meat dishes and cheese.
