Notes: The Château Les Hauts de Caillevel estate is located in Pomport, just south of Bergerac in the Dordogne, and the wines produced here express the unique terroir of the Monbazillac plateau. The estate has been fully organic since 2010 and uses sustainable farming practices with minimal sulphites added to the wines.

Les Brumes (‘The Mists’) is a sweet Monbazillac wine made from botrytised Muscadelle and Sémillon grapes which are hand-harvested in the misty month of October. Concentrated sweet flavours of exotic fruits, apricots and honey are balanced by the characteristic fresh acidity of the Caillevel terroir. An ideal match for strong and blue cheeses or desserts.
