Armagnac

The Armagnac region in Gascony gives its name to the oldest brandy produced in France. Unlike the more famous Cognac, Armagnac is made from a variety of grapes, including Ugni Blanc and Colombard, and is distilled only once to produce a fuller-bodied and flavourful brandy noted for its rustic character.
