Notes: Pezat, from world-leading winemaker Jonathan Maltus, was born of a belief that an excellent wine could be produced from vineyards just outside the famous Saint Emilion Appellation if the same high standards were applied. Hence this wine was made using the same equipment and methods as Chateau Teyssier, with 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Rouge from ‘La Plagnolle’, a vineyard just a step outside of Saint Emilion. Rich, fruity and medium-bodied, this is an outstanding wine for the price.
