Notes: The Louis de Sacy estate is set in the hillside village of Verzy in Montagne de Reims, one of the 17 villages in Champagne granted Grand Cru status. The Sacy family has owned vineyards in Champagne since 1633 and the Louis de Sacy brand draws inspiration from this history, taking its name from an illustrious ancestor who was a writer and member of the Académie française.

Grand Soir is Louis de Sacy’s vintage champagne, with grapes selected from the estate’s best parcels. The 2008 vintage is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, with aromas of marzipan, peach and apricot offset by toasted and vanilla notes, followed by a creamy, rich and concentrated palate.
