Notes: Domaine de Fontavin was established in 1989 by the Chouvet family, who have been producing wine in the Rhone region for many generations. Today the Domaine owns 45 hectares of vines across 8 communes in the Southern Rhone, including Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and has been certified as an organic producer since 2008. Trilogies Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a blend of 80% Grenache with 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre from 40–80-year-old vines. The result is a rich wine with aromas of red and black fruits on the nose with liquorice notes and a long finish. An excellent match for lamb and beef dishes.
